Pego-Oliva Marshes Natural Park

 

An extension of reed beds, rice fields and lagoons crossed by a network of rivers, irrigation channels and canals, which make up a natural area of great richness. The underwater vegetation shelters and serves as a habitat for a rich and varied fauna, among which we can highlight the white-faced terrapin the white-faced tern, the samaruc, the marbled teal and the European pond turtle.
